Workshop of Quantum Dynamics and Quantum Walks

November 24th - 26th, 2012 Okazaki Conference Center

Okazaki Conference Center
Access Information is here or here (nearly located at Institute for Molecular Science (IMS)).
It is importantly noted that the nearest airport is the Central Japan International Airport (NGO) located in Nagoya and is not Narita and Haneda airports.
Also, it is importantly noted that the nearest train station is Higashi-Okazaki station of Meitetsu line, which is different from Okazaki station of JR line.

The Nature is always changed dynamically even in quantum mechanics. A quantum walk, which is a quantum mechanical analogue of the random walk, is a promising toy model to understand the quantum dynamics. Surprisingly, these models can be experimentally demonstrated in some physical models. This workshop opens interdisciplinary researchers from the theoretical and experimental sides on the discrete-time and contentious-time quantum walks, for examples, mathematics, quantum information, and quantum chemistry. The organizers strongly encourage young researcher to actively join us to this workshop.
