Workshop of Quantum Simulation and Quantum Walks 2015
Yokohama National University, Education and Culture Hall
How to reach the venue
You find Access map.
The organizers recommend that you should take the bus at Yokohama train station.
You can see Yokohama National University on Campus Map (S1-2).
On the first day, some of the organizers will guide you to go together to Yokohama National University from Yokohama and Sakuragi-Cho train station. The details are checked in this.
Alternatively, the bus from Yokohama train station to the nearest bus stop, Okazawa-cho, can be checked here.
The Nature is always changed dynamically even in quantum mechanics. Quantum walks,
which are quantum-mechanical analogues of random walks, are promising toy models to
understand quantum dynamics. Surprisingly, these models can be experimentally
demonstrated in some physical models. This workshop will be open for interdisciplinary
researchers from the theoretical and experimental sides on the discrete-time and
continuous-time quantum walks, for examples, mathematics, physics, quantum information,
and statistical mechanics. The organizers strongly encourage young researchers to
actively join us to this workshop.

The banquet will be held at Restaurant "PORTY" on the 3rd floor of University Hall COOP (S1-5) on the second day (November 17th).
Any contribution is welcome. When the number of contributions exceeds the limitation of the oral slots, some of them will be picked up.
The workshop contributors can submit the proceedings published in Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (IIS)
by the Graduate School of Information Sciences (GSIS), Tohoku University. We will announce the details on the submission to the workshop contributors.
You can find the suitable hotel around Yokohama, Sakuragicho, or Minato-Mirai train stations.
